Starting April 1st, 2025, India embarks on a new era of environmental responsibility. The updated Plastic Waste Management Rules introduce significant changes, emphasizing the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) principle. Under this framework, companies are not only accountable for collecting and recycling the plastic waste they generate but also for incorporating recycled content back into their packaging (excluding food contact).
Lucro specializes in providing packaging solutions with a high recycled content – ranging from 30% to 80% depending on the specific packaging needs and the brand's requirements. This approach offers dual benefits:
- EPR Compliance: You earn recycling credits for the waste utilized and fulfil the recycled content mandate under Category II.
- Environmental Impact: Our products are crafted from Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) content, meaning they are derived from recycled household waste, giving discarded materials a new life.
Under Category II, PIBOs are required to use at least 10% recycled content in their overall non-food packaging. We're currently supplying to a wide range of FMCGs and retail brands such as: ITC, Nestle, Tata Consumer Products, Coca-cola, HUL, Mondelez, Godrej Consumer Products, etc.
Bundling Rolls: Ideal for secondary packaging to bundle your goods. Lucro supplies bundling rolls to major FMCG companies in India. |
