Innovating the Future of PE Plastics Recycling

Proprietary De-oiling

Lucro’s proprietary de-oiling process is specially formulated to remove oils, greases, and lubricant residues from polyethylene (PE) plastic surfaces and regrind without degrading the polymer or affecting its physical properties. Because PE has a naturally low surface energy, oil contamination can be especially difficult to strip using standard cleaners. Our solution is engineered to overcome this challenge, penetrating and lifting oily residues efficiently while preserving the integrity, clarity, and mechanical strength of the plastic

Proprietary De-inking

Printed PE films, containers, and packaging often carry inks and pigments that must be removed before the plastic can be recycled or reused at a high-quality grade. Lucro’s proprietary de-inking formulation is specifically designed for polyethylene substrates, breaking down ink layers and pigment binders effectively without attacking or weakening the underlying plastic. The result is clean, ink-free PE material suitable for high-grade recycling streams, reprocessing into new products, or reuse in applications where visual clarity and material purity are essential.

Proprietary De-odorizing

Recycled and reprocessed PE plastics can retain persistent odors from mixed household waste. Lucro’s proprietary de-odorizing formulation is tailored to neutralize these odor-causing compounds at the source, rather than simply masking them, restoring the plastic to a neutral, odor-free state. This is particularly critical for recycled PE destined for food-adjacent packaging, consumer goods, or other applications where odor-free material is a key quality benchmark.

Paint Removal from Auto Parts
(PP Components)

Many automotive components — trim pieces, panels, bumpers— are molded from polyethylene and often carry painted or coated finishes that must be stripped before the material can be reused or recycled. Lucro’s specialized paint-removal formulation is designed to work specifically with auto plastics, breaking down cured paint, primer, and coating layers without degrading, warping, or embrittling the underlying plastic. This allows Lucro to recover clean, paint-free PE material efficiently, supporting closed-loop recycling and high-quality material recovery from end-of-life auto parts.
